Mill Strip Out

Another mill strip out of which A.R.T. has completed several of over the years. All material was demolished by an excavator working in close confines of the building. All material was then transported out by forklift trucks and skidsteers.

The Misty Moon Public House, Neasden, London

A.R.T. stripped out this former pub on behalf of Tesco Plc as it was to be transformed into a Tesco Express Store. Due to many different transformations over the years the building had in place 6 layers of timber / plasterboard over the walls. Material egress was also a challenge as five 60 yard skips were stacked by hand through a back window into the waiting skip lorry. Once soft strip was complete the concrete ground floor was broken out over the entire area working from the basement floor with our specially adapted 1.5 ton mini excavator with a concrete pulverizer fitted. Over 100 tons of rubble was demolished & removed in just 8 days.
